How does 3D Modeling work?
An artist usually begins by creating some primitive, such as a cube, sphere, or plane. Primeval is just an initial figure to start modeling.

This is particularly useful in character design because an artist only needs to model one side of the character, and the software will reflect its work along the desired axis, creating a fully symmetric object.
Other devices allow for quick deformation of a model surface.
For example, a noisy texture can be used to displace the mesh to obtain a more organic surface.
Or a subdivision surface tool can be used to simulate a high polygon count. In this way, the artist can work in a “non-destructive” process that preserves their original work. This is particularly important for more complex models that require experimentation to be correct.
Once the model is complete, the surface can be printed and textured.
