Autodesk has released new AutoCAD 2020-industry-leading CAD software benefits Microsoft and Box Cloud integration and many other features in addition to its main desktop versions (macOS and Windows editions come with a subscription) and the web version of AutoCAD.

Autodesk AutoCAD 2020
The Autodesk AutoCAD 2020 subscription includes a full version of AutoCAD, exclusive toolsets, access to industry-specific toolsets, access to both AutoCAD Web – a version of AutoCAD that runs in a standard web browser on modern platforms of Windows and Mac. AutoCAD Mobile App, and all the latest new features.

New Dark Theme brings clarity
AutoCAD 2020 and all exclusive toolsets have a brand new look! The dark theme now has a modern Dark Blue interface that is easy on the eyes. The new dark theme is designed to work with recent contrast improvements and sharper icons.
Performance improvements speed up work
With AutoCAD 2020:
- Each time you save your work, the average is completed in just half a second – fast in a second. This can save you hours of time every year. (In just one year, all AutoCAD users will collectively save 80 working years!)
- In addition, the install time for solid-state hard drives is 50% faster.
Quickly display measurements at a glance
In AutoCAD 2020, measuring distances is faster than ever with the new Quick Measurement Tool, which measures 2D drawings by hovering your mouse. When you move your mouse between objects, the dimensions, distances, and angles are displayed dynamically.
Add blocks efficiently with block palette
The new block palette makes it easy to insert blocks with visual galleries and the ability to filter for the exact block you’re looking for. Simple, you can drag and drop the drawing from the current picture, hall, or another drawing tab to the draw. The palette increases efficiency for searching and inserting multiple blocks and recently used blocks – including the addition of a repeat placement option to save steps.
Easy to clean design with redesigned purge
The Purge feature has been revamped for more natural drawing cleanup. Remove any unnecessary items at once with natural selection and a visual preview area. Look for the Non-Identifiable Items button with the Probable Causes section to understand why some things may not be purged.
Compare drawing modifications in a single window
A favorite from last year’s release, the DWG comparison feature has been extended based on your feedback. Now you can compare two versions of the drawing without leaving your current window and import the desired changes to the current drawing in real-time. Compare the new DWG toolbar quickly and quickly.
AutoCAD partners with Microsoft and Box
AutoCAD is partnering with Microsoft and Box, so as of today if you already store your files in Microsoft One Drive or Box, you’ll have streamlined workflows and access to any DWG file with AutoCAD anytime can get access.
